Label Widget
The Label widget displays a static text value on your dashboard. It renders the widget title as the displayed content — there is no separate “value” field. The title IS the content.
How to display a label with a value:
Set the Title field to whatever text you want displayed (e.g., “Temperature: 23.5°C” or “STATUS: ONLINE”)
The widget renders ONLY the title text — styled with your configured font size, color, and family
The background color fills the entire widget area behind the text
Configuration:
| Setting | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Title | The text displayed in the widget (this IS the content) | “Floor 3 — Sensor Array” |
| Background | Widget background color (hex) | #f5f5f5, #d0021b (red for alerts) |
| Font Color | Text color | #343434, #fff (white on dark background) |
| Font Family | Typography | Proxima Nova, Arvo |
| Font Size | Text size in pixels | 18, 24, 36 (use larger for section headers) |
Use Cases:
Section Headers: Use large font (36px) to create visual section dividers between widget groups
Status Banners: Red background + white text for “SYSTEM MAINTENANCE” notices
Informational Notes: Small text explaining what other widgets show
Floor/Zone Labels: Identify dashboard sections by location or department
Key Point: The Label widget is purely static. It does NOT connect to any device or attribute — it displays whatever you type in the Title field. For dynamic values that change with telemetry, use the Live Value Tile or Transformation widget instead.
